Many people forget or underestimate the need for cleaning printheads. It is so important to keep the printheads clean as it drastically reduces the amount of blown printheads, due to dust, adhesive residue and label damage.

Printheads needs to be cleaned with a lintfree cloth with Alcohol 97% or better. Most alcohol readily available in factories, is likely to have been diluted and this can blow printheads and electronics if used too liberally.

Our printhead wipes are 99% Isoproyl Alcohol and 1% Distilled Water.  We recommend cleaning at every change of roll.
